Magic
Eiko, though she's a member of the Summoner tribe, is primarily a White Mage. Dagger, by contrast, is primarily a Summoner, as proven by the fact that she has more Eidolons than Eiko, but fewer White Magic spells. Eiko has a few spells exclusive to her that really come in handy--Full-Life being the most notable example. There is a table below of all the spells she can learn. (The descriptions aren't official, they were written by me, so if they sound a bit different or more detailed, that's why)

| Esuna | Remove "physical" status effects (poison, stone, darkness, silence, etc) from one party member | 20 |
| Protect | For a short period of time, one party member will have increased physical defense | 6 |
| Shell | For a short period of time, one party member will have increased magic defense | |
| Haste | For a short period of time, one party member's speed will increase | 8 |
| Silence | Silences an enemy, making them unable to use magic | 8 |
| Mini | Induces or reverses the Mini status on one target | 8 |
| Reflect | For a short period of time, one party member will reflect magic spells cast on them back upon the enemies | 6 |
| Float | For a short period of time, hover in the air, making one immune to Earth attacks, but very weak to Wind attacks | 6 |
| Dispel | Nullify any magic effect, good or bad, on any target (protect, shell, haste, slow, stop, etc) | 16 |
| Might | For a short period of time, the physical strength of one ally will increase | 14 |
| Jewel | Extracts a piece of ore from the enemy | 4 |
| Holy | Holy-elemental magic attack that hits all enemies | 36 |
